Exam Weighting – Residential Real Estate

Today we are going to understand the weightage of Residential Real Estate in the RECA Exam with unit-wise distribution of questions and emphasis. 

The Residential Real Estate is the most common type of Real Estate Course. The reason being Residential Real Estates deal with non-organizational clients who are planning to buy properties for non-commercial or personal use. Weightage of Residential Real Estate Topics in the RECA Exam

Number of Questions: It has been allotted a total number of 120 Questions in the exam.

Question Format: All the questions are multiple-choice. You can select the best option that you think is right from a given list of 4 options.

Time allotted per Question: Forideal and expected results, you can allot an average of 1.50 minutes to each question to complete the exam in the stipulated time.

Weightage Distribution by Unit

5. Residential Property Valuation
6. Mortgage Financing
7. Rural Residential Real Estate
8. Representing the Seller
9. Representing the Buyer

Minimum Passing Requirements for the Exam

1. Passing Percentage – The minimum passing percentage for the Residential Real Estate Exam is 70%.
2. Passing Marks – The minimum number of marks required to pass the exam is 84.
